New Ways of Working in VET Forum 5 - November 2008

Reframing the Future held a two-day forum in Melbourne on 17 and 18 November 2008. Over 370 VET practitioners attended.

This interactive forum showcased innovative vocational education and training (VET) strategies and practices and the emerging outcomes of the 2008 Reframing the Future projects.

The forum provided an opportunity for VET practitioners from around Australia to network, share and promote good practice in implementing the national training system.

Keynote Speakers

An Enterprises Enhanced by VET forum was held each day. These forums were of high value to people with responsibility for improving their RTOs structures, cultures or processes or for building the capabilities of training organisation staff to work in partnership with enterprises. The forum facilitation featured the innovative use of Most Significant Change (MSC) technique.

Other highlights included displays and presentations on COAG RPL project activities from around Australia.

Launch of IBSA's new TAA resources; and a special session on IBSA's 'Networking the TAA' project.

Over 50 stimulating presentations and posters showcasing the 2008 Reframing the Future projects.
